Chef Annah Eats Her Own Dog Food

(Recipe for Turkey Veggie Grain, a Balanced-Diet Canine Meal and Wine Pairing for Humans)

 

 

The following recipe can be used as part of a balanced diet for canines. As a daily addition to the canine diet, feed your canine a healthy, balanced dry dog food in the morning and 0.03 cup per canine pound (e.g., 1 cup for a 30 pound dog) of Turkey Veggie Grain for dinner.

Turkey Veggie Grain will pair with any wine recommended to you, though best Calldera category matches in priority order are d, c, y, z, h, g, l and k.  White wines preferred.

Prep and Cook Time: 20 minutes

 

2 lbs ground turkey breast
12 oz fresh stir fry vegetables or fresh broccoli slaw
2 cups whole wheat pasta

 

Brown ground turkey breast until thoroughly cooked (approx 10 mins).

Chop stir fry vegetables into bite-sized pieces.

Bring small amount of water to boil and steam vegetables for 3 1/2 minutes.

Bring 4 cups of water to boil, add pasta and boil for 10 minutes.

Once cooked, thoroughly mix together turkey breast, veggies and pasta.

If for human consumption, add salt and pepper to taste.

Serve.
