Stacking the Deck in Your Favor

(A Wine Musing)

Is there a connection between attitude and outcome?  On the surface, the answer may seem to be ‘no.’  But, a deeper investigation reveals a logical connection.

Attitude affects thought.  If you have a negative attitude, you likely think things will not go as planned or the outcome of an endeavor will be unsatisfactory.  On the other hand, a positive attitude generates positive thoughts – optimism for a desired outcome.

Thoughts lead to action.  Unless the action is reflexive, even those who are quick to act engage in forethought.  So, if your thoughts are positive, you are likely to take positive action or action that will ultimately support a positive outcome.

Actions produce results.  Negative actions generally produce negative results.  Conversely, positive actions most often generate positive results.

So, it’s logical that actions resulting from positive thoughts that were born from a positive attitude will produce positive results.
